Shackup Cabin— Wood Fired Hot Tub & Near the beach

Dead quiet, the only thing you will hear is the murmur of the stream beside the cottage. Sun beamed in through the trees, stunning. We loved it. Charcoal and barbecue provided allowing us to cook for ourselves and therefore take a break from restaurant food. Kitchen is well stocked. Would go back.

The cabin was amazing! The location was magical and we loved waking up to a view of the trees and the sound of the breeze every morning. The only thing I didn't catch prior to booking was that the bathroom is detached from the cabin. It wasn't that bad because the bathroom is lovely, just didn't like having to walk out in the middle of the night if I needed to go. That will not dissuade us from renting here again though! It truly was the most peaceful and magical stay!

The cabin is immaculately clean and has that instant “home” feeling the moment you walk through the door.There’s no microwave, dishwasher, or TV, but honestly — you won’t miss a thing once you see the view. It’s absolutely stunning and becomes the center of your stay. A tip: get the fire going for the hot tub as soon as you arrive so it’s perfectly warm when you’re ready to relax.Activities aren’t right around the corner, but the drives are beautiful and absolutely worth it. If you want quiet, privacy, and a place to unwind, this Vrbo delivers.

This was our second stay, and it was just as wonderful as the first. It's a lovely, private retreat, conveniently located near Rissers Beach and an excellent base for short day trips exploring the South Shore.
